Tenzin Choegyal from Tibet
Born to a family of Tibetan nomads and exiled into India as a child, Tenzin Choegyal survived to become a world-class musician and became a living folk legend. In 1997, this man travelled all the way to Australia with his dranyen and a bag full of hope to make it in the world. Make it big. And he did. This year he is travelling to Bangladesh to reach your ears with the same hope to change how we perceive music. Let us all welcome him live in Dhaka International Folk Fest 2017.
